Join us for another fabulous Dancing Through the Decades with DJ Ari Levitt! We have traditionally done this on NYE, but this year we are hiring the amazing Joe Cook Blues Band who will provide the bulk of the music on NYE with Ari DJing between and after sets.
So, for this dance, starting with the 1940s, Ari will share the best dance music of each decade through the 2020s. Each decade will have different styles of dance including waltz, swing, nightclub, foxtrot and more. For those who don't know, Ari has an EXTENSIVE music collection of more than 500,000 songs! Of these he'll select the best of the best for each decade.
It also 4th Friday, so in keeping with our new tradition of monthly birthday dances, we will be celebrating all you December babies who can actually celebrate your birthdays with your dance friends!
Dress in the style of your favorite decade! Or bring an outfit or two to change into with the progression through the decades!
Flow of the evening:
7:15 Doors open
7:30 40s, 50s, 60s
8:30 70s, 80s, 90s
9:45 Birthday Dance!
10:00 2000s through 2025
11:00 Dance ends (with option to stay later)
Cost: $20 cash or venmo at the door
As usual, this include yummy snacks and an open wine bar
