About this Event
Experience the smooth rhythms and romantic flow of bachata, a social dance that originated in the Dominican Republic and is known for its expressive footwork, gentle hip motion, and close connection to the music. Bachata is fun, approachable, and perfect for beginners.
From 3–5 pm, instructor Erika Cianciaruso will teach bachata fundamentals and guide participants through a short choreographed routine. From 5–6 pm, enjoy open dance time to practice your new moves and dance freely.
No experience necessary and no partner required. We’ll be partnering up throughout the class, and there will be plenty of dancers on site. Come solo or bring friends, family, or co-workers. Dress up or dress down—whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to dance.
🍸 Mintahoe will have the bar open with snacks and drinks available for purchase.
