Join us for our FINAL Dancing Freedom event of the year at the Warrandyte Community Hall! This is a chance to explore what brings you joy and pleasure through music and movement. Arrive by 6:30 PM to enjoy a delightful warm-up. Remember, you are always welcome just as you are. If you'd like, bring along a bite to share with the community for after we dance. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat for the warm up if you like, wear comfortable clothing to dance in & water bottle
When: Thursday 21st of November 6:30PM to 8:45PM
(Note: Please arrive on time. Arrival from 6:30-6:55 we will have warm up music on by 6:30 and circle up to start our journey by 7:00.)
Cost: Sliding Scale between $20-$35

What is Dancing Freedom?
Dancing Freedom is a mind, body, soul and earth conscious dance practice of liberation and freedom. A space whereby all parts of you are welcomed and explored through the medicine of dance, ceremony and community.
Class breakdown:
We begin our dance with a warm up, followed by an opening circle. Through the power of music, we then dance an elemental wave of earth, water, fire, air and ether. This is followed by an opportunity to integrate our experience and share with others in the space, finishing off in a closing circle.

My name is Sage, a music and dance enthusiast weaving my way across dance floors for the past 14 years in the festival, ecstatic dance and music scene. Bringing my playful spirit to the spaces I hold as a Dancing Freedom facilitator, my aim is to bring people together from all walks of life to dance and celebrate our shared humanity. Having worked as a nurse for 9 years and completed studies as a trauma practitioner I am passionate about providing safe spaces for others to feel, express and embody their authentic nature.
I am excited to meet you there!
