Dancing Around The Queen’s Handbag: A Fighter Pilot Goes To The Palace

We’re delighted to invite you to an inspirational presentation by Adam Fox-Edwards, Devon-born RAF fighter pilot and one of the UK’s own “Top Guns.”

After seventeen years flying Tornados, Adam was seconded to Buckingham Palace as Special Assistant to The Master of the Household. He worked directly for The Queen - a role that brought him face-to-face with Prime Ministers, Heads of State, VIPs and the Royal Family.

In this fascinating and often humorous talk, Adam takes us behind the scenes at the Palace and shares what it was like to move from frontline operations in the Gulf to the very centre of the British Establishment.

His service also coincided with the tragic death of Princess Diana, giving him a unique and moving perspective on a moment of national trauma.

Subsequently he had a rich and varied commercial career working as a consultant for large corporates including PriceWaterhouseCoopers, IBM and Serco and a variety of SMEs as well as starting and exiting his own businesses.

It promises to be an insightful and memorable event.
