🧍Everyone is welcome to join :) No musical/dance experience required
We welcome you to join in a practice of understanding the Unity of the human family with all of Life in its infinite variety. This is a space to cultivate a living experience of community connection, individual remembrance, and peace & love!
Participants join hands and form a circle while the leader teaches the sacred phrase, melody, and movements for each Dance. Most dances are only a few lines long and repeat many times, so learning is quick and easy!
The Dances are here as a transmission of love, joy, peace and compassion - opening us to the remembrance of the natural human state - unguarded, authentic, and accessible.

Hi, I’m your host, you can call me Austin. I’ve been practicing DUP and being mentored for a few years, since living in Vietnam. This is one of my favourite practices to share because each of us participates together and brings joy to one another! Can’t wait to dance with you.

Since the beginning of time, sacred movement, song, and story have brought people together - at times of seasonal ceremony and celebration, as part of everyday life, in meditation and renewal. The Dances of Universal Peace are part of this timeless tradition: blending live music and movement into a living experience of unity.
Sacred phrases and poetry from the many spiritual traditions and ancient indigenous communities are offered in an atmosphere of safety, authenticity and mindfulness to evoke a unified experience of movement, sound and breath.
