Gippsland's own Latrobe Orchestra and local chamber ensemble Stringz Costero present an afternoon of musical delights to get those toes tapping and the heart strings pulsating. With an option of table sitting and BYO food/ nonalcoholic drinks (at the tables only), it's a chance to gather with friends and family to experience the joy and power of live classical music.Music featured includes The Lord of the Rings (Shore), Romeo and Juliet Overture (Tchaikovsky), Slavonic Dance (Dvorak), un Pour Cabeza (Gardel), Jupiter Bringer of Jollity (Holst) plus many more including the work of Gippsland grown composer Dani Maree Ashmore.
There is the option of discounted balcony seating but this is an area that is up stairs and is a food/drink free zone. Children under 12 years and under must be supervised by an adult.
