On Friday, December 5th you will have the opportunity to dance to the music of the Sentimental Swing Big Band at the Moose Lodge, 644 West 190th Street, two miles north of Ames on Hwy 69. Please join us! We'll have a large, beautiful wood dance floor and a great band waiting for YOU!1 - We will be having a pre-dance meal at 6:15 for $20 - Pay at the door.
2 - There will NOT be a dance lesson this month.
3 - The dance will be from 7:30 to 10:00
Reservations are required by Tuesday, December 2nd. (This editor is sorry to give you so little time to get your reservations in!)
We need to have a minimum of 16 meal reservations, and you will be notified if we fall short and don't have the meal.
The meal will be catered by Hy-Vee and will be served at 6:15PM.
MENU
2 Entrees - Each person will get both entrees.
• Roast Beef
• Sliced Ham
3 Sides
• Mashed Potatoes and Beef Gravy
• Baked Beans
• Garden Salad with Ranch, French, or Italian Dressing
•Dinner Rolls & Butter
Dessert
• Peach Crisp
Gluten Free buns will be available
Coffee and water will be provided
Dancing 7:30 – 10:00 p.m.
If bringing guests, PLEASE send in their names in advance so we can have name tags ready!
Guests are always welcome at $40 per couple for the dance.
First time guests hosted by a member dance free!
If a scheduled Red Friars dance must be cancelled at the last minute due to inclement weather etc., members and past/potential members will be notified by email as soon as possible. Cancellation announcements will also be on Facebook.
