We gather in the Dance Temple on
Saturday 6 September | 6–9PM
Located above Escape Cafe, New Plymouth
The third in a series of 5 monthly ceremonial dances

Step into the Dance Temple, where movement becomes a prayer.
This journey calls on the element of fire 🔥
- to awaken the worthiness of your dreams and desires,
transform what is ready to shift, and ignite your inner power.
Through embodied movement, sound, and ritual, you’ll move from desire into action, feeling what is alive to be set aflame.
Awaken the senses, stoke your life force, and dance in the glow of your own transformation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
6:00PM - Doors open for gentle arrival, connection, exploration of the space and a blessing on arrival.
6:30PM - We spiral into circle with Ginger Tea to enliven our senses.
From here the music and movement journey begins
8.45PM - We close with integration and shared kai to nourish body and spirit.

Dance Temple is a sacred act of co-creation -
between body and soul, sound and silence, self and source.
It is a ceremony of liberation. A dance of remembrance.
A space where movement becomes medicine and presence becomes prayer.
We gather in common{unity},
moving with curiosity, play, and presence.
We return to the wisdom of the body, to what is ancient and true.
The space is slow, spacious, and sensual -
awakening all the senses: 👁👃👅👂🤲

Together, these elements guide the unseen magic in the space.

Lovingly held and supported by Temple Keepers weaving their magic into the co-creation of each offering and facilitating individual offerings.

Our Temple Keepers have all trained in Somatic Dance with Sarsha Hope and Stephen Blase within Somatic Dance International - This means we have collectively over a 1000hours of experience from training and assisting, and also holding our own individual spaces.
What is Somatic Dance?
Somatic Dance is an invitation to move freely - no matter your age, experience, or rhythm. It’s a space to express, release, and return to yourself through movement, music, and presence.
Here, we dance to feel - not to perform.
You’ll be gently held in a container that encourages deep listening to your body, emotions, and energy. There are no right steps - only your steps.
Come as you are. Move as you feel. Every cue is an invitation, never an obligation
This is not your average dance class.
No choreography. No pressure. Just pure, embodied exploration
