About Dez Jordan:

Desmond “Dez” Jordan is a dancer, artist, and creative leader whose work bridges performance, education, and community engagement. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where he earned a BFA in Dance Education, Dez has built a dynamic career grounded in movement, storytelling, and connection.

With extensive training in Hip Hop and commercial dance, Dez has performed alongside artists including Radio Disney’s Kicking Daisies, entertainment icon Debbie Reynolds, and Grammy-nominated recording artist Deborah Cox. His artistic approach blends technical excellence with authenticity, using dance as a tool for expression, empowerment, and community building.

Beyond the stage, Dez has dedicated his career to arts administration and leadership throughout the Metro DC area, creating opportunities for artists and audiences to engage meaningfully with the arts. Whether performing, teaching, or developing programs, he is committed to fostering inclusive spaces where creativity thrives, and people feel inspired to connect.
