Hey yoga friends! Johanna here, owner of Go Inside Yoga. Before I found yoga, I experienced freedom through dance. I took dance classes as a kid for 10 years and then went out to the clubs in my 20s. As an almost 50 year old, I find few opportunities to express myself that way here in Conway and DAMN I miss it!!I'm hosting this event because I love to dance. I'm not saying I'm good at it, but I can feel the rhythm in my body and I'm compelled to move. Often, dancing requires going out to a bar or club, which can be fun, but includes a lot of other dynamics that you may not be in the mood for. This is simple, just good people getting together to move and groove.
I'm not sure if hosting this on Valentines Day is a good move, but I'm excited about it. As a single person, I look forward to having something fun to do while everyone else is out celebrating their coupledom. ;)
BYOB. Limited to 25 people. Reserve a spot using your yoga package or purchase a drop-in if you don't currently have passes. Please go barefoot, or wear socks or some dance type shoes. No street shoes so as to protect the bamboo floor and sacred space. If you need to wear regular shoes make sure they are clean, not worn outside and will not scratch a wood floor.
