Dance Jam! at Sun Country Sports is a fun, drop-in dance session designed for children ages 6–10 who want to explore dance without committing to a regularly scheduled class. Each Dance Jam! focuses on a different style of dance, which may include hip-hop, jazz, modern, or ballet, giving participants a chance to try new movements and techniques in a relaxed, engaging setting.
Participants should wear non-restrictive, flexible clothing that allows ease of movement; dancers may also bring their own dance shoes if they have them (ballet or jazz), otherwise bare feet are acceptable. Hair should be secured out of the face.
Dance Jam! is offered on scheduled dates and times at Sun Country Sports – West location, available for members and non-members. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

Dance Jam! Attire:
Dancers should wear non-restrictive, flexible clothing that they can move in—such as Lycra bike shorts and T-shirts. Shorts should be knee length, and T-shirts should be fitted. Overly baggy and loose clothing is restrictive to dance movement. If your child has dancewear, they may also wear this if they choose. Loose Soffe shorts are not appropriate. Girls should not wear skirts or dresses. If your child has dance shoes (ballet, jazz), please send these with them as well. (Please also remember that dance shoes must not be worn outside.) Otherwise, bare feet will be fine. For girls, hair must be pulled back away from the face into a ponytail.
