Dance in Italy

We invite you to the first DAS’s event dedicated to dance. We are pleased to have the opportunity to introduce you to Irma Cardano, present in the US for masterclasses. Irma is a well known dancer and choreographer in Italy, having worked in theater, television and cinema. She will be our speaker for a lecture exploring the profound relationship between Italian culture and the art of dance.

Irma graduated from the prestigious National Dance Academy of Rome, where she deepened the study of history of dance, music, anatomy, contemporary dance with various teachers including Dino Verga (Cunningham technique) and Cristina Caponera (Limon technique).
“Dance and Culture: An Italian Perspective and Mastery”, will provide an inspiring occasion to talk about the role of dance in Italian culture and the personal journey of Irma.
A reception will follow the lecture.
