An evening of moving freely to release and shake off the day, blissful through to calm.

A space for people who are familiar with free-movement dance to move together through a specially curated Dance Free experience.

What to expect

• A cosy, dim-lit space, with a skylight ceiling and a wooden floor to enjoy dancing in a warm space.
• Music will be playing on arrival - we’ll get straight into the dance!
• Themed facilitation during the dance journey - no pressure invitations to explore different ways of moving.
• Specially curated music journeys - full of unique rhythms to let go, shake off the week and feel alive.
• Music played through wireless headsets.
• Grounding at the end of dance to close in stillness.
• Super warm and friendly vibe.

Please book ONE ticket per headset.

Guidelines for Dance Free events

* Be present in the moment

* Non-verbal space communicate with movement

* Keep moving as much or little as you feel

* Respect others mindful of other's space & freedom of expression

* Alcohol/drug free clear mind to embrace mindful movement

* Be free ~ Dance however you feel!

This event is recommended for people who have danced at Dance Free events before or other conscious dance practices such as ecstatic dance or similar.

Travel

We recommend car sharing or walking or cycling to our events where possible.

Parking

Grandstand car park on Saxilby Road (Free parking for up to 4 hours) - 15 minute walk.

Orchard Street (£4.70 evening charge) - 8 minute walk.

Some (but limited) on-street parking on Carholme Road (Free) - 6 minute walk.
