Dance, Dance, Otherwise We are Lost

Dance, Dance, Otherwise We Are Lost is Sukanya Burman's message Sunday, October 11 during our Sunday Service.
The curator of the recent Jamestown Dance Festival that has sold-out events is an Indian American dancer, choreographer, educator, and cultural producer currently based in Jamestown. An Adjunct professor at Alfred University she is a recipient of multiple NYS Council of the Arts Artist Awards and other recognitions.
Burman says that while dance is often seen primarily as entertainment or celebration, it has also helped communities preserve memory, navigate change, and find connection during difficult times. Drawing from her broad dance experiences, she invites her audience to consider how movement can deepen understanding of one another and remind them of our shared humanity, interdependence, and responsibility to remain present to the world around us.
All are welcome to our 10:30 service and coffee hour that follows. Zoom service also available: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86837751239...
