Ecstatic Dance is a form of meditation in motion, a non-talking, self-immersive experience designed to connect you with yourself and your emotions through movement. The practice begins with a guided meditation to ground you, followed by an hour of silent dance. During this time, you are encouraged to connect with your authentic self and express it through your movements, all while being guided by the music.
The experience culminates in a sharing circle, where the group comes together to connect and embrace vulnerability. This is an opportunity to share your experiences and reflections from the dance, fostering a sense of community and deeper connection with others. The sharing circle provides a safe space to be seen and heard in your authentic self, extending the vulnerability and self-discovery from the dance into a communal setting.
