Danbury Ridge Nature Reserve – Relaxing Sunday StrollJoin us for a gentle, relaxing walk around Danbury Ridge Nature Reserve, led by Sophie Keane. This is an easygoing Sunday stroll, perfect for switching off, enjoying nature, and taking things at a comfortable pace.
The reserve offers a variety of winding paths through woodland and heathland, making it a lovely place to explore without any pressure to rush. Some sections include mild inclines, and a few un-surfaced paths can become muddy in winter, particularly along the bridle path, sensible footwear is recommended.
Parking:
There is limited parking available off the side of the road near the main entrance, so please park considerately.
Dogs:
Dogs are very welcome, as long as they are kept under effective control at all times. Please be mindful that grazing animals may be present.
Grazing animals:
• Goats may be grazing in August
• Cows may be grazing in March and from August through to October
This walk is intended to be calm, friendly, and inclusive, a chance to enjoy fresh air, gentle movement, and good company. Please respect the environment, wildlife, and fellow walkers so everyone can have a peaceful experience.
