Pre-registration information coming soon!!If you are due for your breast cancer screening, the Dana-Farber's Mammography Van will be in town on Thursday, May 21, 7 AM-3:15 PM. It will conveniently be parked at the Northborough Library (34 Main Street) back lot off Patty Lane.
The American College of Radiology recommends a mammogram every year if you are age 40 or older.
Upon registration, your insurance information will be taken and billed. If you are uninsured, you can still schedule an appointment and will be connected to a financial counselor.
Other notes:
-Will provide 3D Mammography
-Expect the process to take about 20 minutes
-No referral or PCP is needed
-Results will be received via postal mail or through the Patient Gateway and can be shared with your PCP or GYN
-If additional imaging is required, they will help facilitate next steps.
The Dana Farber's Mammography Van possesses a valid license and certificate of inspection issued by the MA Dept. of Public Health.
