Dan Tedesco doesn’t just play songs — he goes to war with them.
Equal parts songwriter, storyteller, and sonic brawler, the Chicago-born artist blends the spirit of Springsteen and Neil Young with the angst of 90s grunge and the intricacy of jazz. His shows are raw, emotionally charged experiences — sometimes solo, always visceral. One fan described it as “a one-man UFC fight, him vs. his guitar… and he doesn’t always win.”
Rooted in the timeless craft of 60s/70s songwriting, Tedesco’s music wrestles with the modern condition — the tension between humanity and technology, purpose and pressure. His latest project, The Overwhelming,was released one song at a time through the DTMC, a streaming platform he built during the pandemic to take back control of how art is shared.
