A chance for Dan Fans to gather in 2025 until the next Fogelberg Foundation event in 2026! Plans are for a gathering at the Pixy Theatre from 1-4pm for an open mic to share personal Dan stories and/or play a favorite Dan song or two - or have it all in a song circle. This is an optional event for those who want to participate. We'll clear the theatre at 4pm for dinner (food truck will be available and numerous restaurants in the area). Doors will open at 6 or 6:30pm for the concert at 7pm. In the first set we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Dan's 1975 release "Captured Angel", performing all of the songs from that recording. The second set will consist of a variety of great Fogelberg songs from 1972 through 1985. Joining in for the evening will be Bob's former trio mates from Indianapolis Brice Bowman and Peg Wright, and Greg Smith from Shelbyville, Kentucky. Expect some great harmonies and instrumentation!
Tickets will be $25, and seating is extremely limited. A ticket link is shown below, and we suggest purchasing tickets through the link to guarantee seating. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria and The Prostate Cancer Foundation.
There is a Hilton Garden, Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express less than 10 minutes from the venue - all located beside each other. There are a lot of things to do in the Edinburgh/Columbus, Indiana area, including a big outlet mall right by the hotels.
