Damas - A Special Wine Dinner with The Eyrie Vineyards

Damas is a culinary celebration hosted by Chef Sylvia Gould, Chef Katie Spetman, and Sommelier Amanda Morrison.

The Eyrie Vineyards is the founding estate of the Willamette Valley wine region of Oregon, established in 1966. Its founders David and Diana Lett not only planted the first grapevines in the region, but also shaped its future by recruiting and mentoring the other first farmers in the valley.

The Venue

The dinner will take place al fresco outside our cozy little Rough House Cottage at Goodood Museum & Gardens (1600 Miccosukee Road) - weather permitting with inside the cottage as the backup plan.

Reservations & Seating

Due to the intimate nature of our space, we can only accommodate parties of 6 or fewer guests.

All seating is family style, so if you would like to sit with other guests please be sure to purchase your tickets in a block.

The Wines

The Eyrie has so many special and historically important wines, of which we will be tasting:

• Chasselas Dore, a traditionally Swiss white grape that grows in just two rows of the Sisters Vineyard.
• Pinot Gris, established by David Lett as the first plantings outside of Europe- ever.
• Trifolium, a blend of all three red grape varietals planted on the estate's vineyards (Pinot Meunier (8%), Trousseau (15%), and Pinot Noir (77%)
• Outcrop Pinot Noir, named for the five-acre site with an underlying outcrop of rock ridging perpendicularly to the hillside overlooking the original vineyard site.
• The Eyrie Pinot Noir, sourced entirely from the original vineyard site planted in 1965.
• The Spark Rosé, a sparkling Pinot Noir added to the lineup recently by son and now-head winemaker Jason Lett.

The Menu

Experience a four-course prix fixe menu showcasing the talents of Chefs Gould & Spetman.

Due to the nature of our service, we cannot accommodate any menu substitutions or dietary restrictions.

Cancellation

Reservations may be cancelled with a refund with a 7 day advance notice. Reservations cancelled or reduced within 7 days may not be eligible for a refund. Please contact us to inquire about our waitlist.
