About this Event
The Dalhousie Graduate History Society is pleased to welcome you to our annual interdisciplinary academic conference!
This year, we have invited panelists to present on topics related to cross-cultural encounters and exchanges in the past and present. We received a record number of submissions from scholars based in Mi'kma'ki and broader Turtle Island, and are privileged to have seen fascinating submissions from scholars practicing internationally in China and Iran, as well! We thank everyone for their submissions, and look forward to hearing what our panelists have to share about their research.
We are also delighted that this year's conference will provide a platform for undergraduate students to contribute their work in such a setting. We received a tremendous number of submissions from students pursuing Bachelor and Honours degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. While we regret that we are unable to welcome all as panelists this year, we are greatly encouraged by the quality of the abstracts that were submitted by this cohort, and hope that future iterations of this conference will be able to provide further opportunities in the coming years.
