You’re invited , please join Fort Wayne Running Club and Fleet Feet Fort Wayne Saturday February 1st, 2025 for a 5k Fun Run and meet & greet with Dakotah Lindwurm Popehn. Dakotah is a highly decorated distance runner who represented the United States in Paris for the 2024 Women's Olympic Marathon. She finished 12th!! She gained notoriety after winning back-to-back victories at Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota in 2021 and 2022. Her victory in 2022 made her the 12th fastest U.S. women's marathoner of all time. She is known for her characteristic smile while racing.
Event is Free and Open to the Public.
Check-in is at 9 am. Fun Run/Walk with Dakotah starts at 10 am , and followed by Photo Opportunities & Autographs with Dakotah after the run/walk at 11am.
Complimentary Coffee , pastries and refreshments will be served after the run. Compliments of Fleet Feet Fort Wayne. Event all starts at the Fleet Feet Fort Wayne Southwest Store 5661 Coventry Lane, Fort Wayne , IN 46804.
