Come and join us for a delicious and practical introduction to homemade dairy!In this session, you’ll learn how to make yoghurt from scratch and then transform it into a range of delicious products, including Greek-style yoghurt, labneh, and cream cheese. You’ll also explore how to make crème fraîche and traditional farmer’s cheese.
With step-by-step guidance from Carol, you’ll then have a go at making your own butter and create a flavoured labneh dip and/or a cream cheese log to take home.
Enjoy tasters of creamy labneh dip and cheesecake made with yoghurt-based cream cheese as you learn.
The workshop will be run by Eliza and Carol, the passionate mother-and-daughter team behind Romsey Crop Swap, who are dedicated to self-sufficiency, reducing waste, and reviving traditional preservation skills. Their friendly, down-to-earth approach makes this session perfect for beginners and curious cooks alike.
