Hey friends,It’s official—I’m heading off to Bogotá soon, and what better way to say goodbye than with a night of music, camaraderie, and a touch of rock ‘n’ roll chaos?
Join us at St. James Wine Vaults, Bath, on Wednesday, 24th January, from 7:00 PM for a send-off you won’t forget (or maybe wish you could).
Deadbeat Valentino will be taking the stage—your favorite band you barely get to see! Expect brooding torch songs, 50s heartbreakers, and twisted blues, like the house band from a lost David Lynch scene. Think The Cramps’ playful sleaze meets Nick Cave’s unholy fervor, with a sprinkling of silk slips, love for sale, and other melancholic tales.
Joining us are the incredible Leathers, a band that sounds like a coachload of Philly Soul makers crashing their bus through the doors of CBGB's in 1976—and staying for the brawl.
It’s hastily arranged, we’re barely practiced, and it might be a bit ropey… but it’ll be fun. And hey, it’s FREE! So come along, have a drink, and help send me off in style.
