DADA x TEM present: Stephanie Babirak, Ski Team, Danny Ritz & the Regulars
About this Event
Join us for a night of independent music in NYC featuring Danny Ritz and the Regulars, Ski Team, and Stephanie Babirak. From anthemic indie rock and heartfelt folk-rock to captivating singer-songwriter performances, this three-band lineup showcases some of New York's most compelling emerging artists. Come discover new music, connect with the local scene, and spend an unforgettable evening at the venue.
Danny Ritz and the Regulars are an indie rock project based in Brooklyn, NY, they write big songs about little things (sometimes vice versa). A finalist for the Levitate Foundation’s Songwriter of the Year Prize, their work rekindles audience’s curiosity to sink deeper into the knots of living — how the funniest things are all a bit sad, and all the saddest things are alittle funny, how emotions and actions run in parallel lines, nearby and never crossing. With the algorithms and the autocrats knocking the hope out of our windpipes, Ritz and the Regulars move people by making them move.
Ski Team is the indie folk-rock project of Lucie Lozinski, a writer and musician praised for intimate yet powerful vocals and conversational lyricism. Ski Team’s debut album, Burnout/Boys, came out in 2026, tracked live in single takes with a sparkling cast of New York jazz and folk musicians.
Stephanie Babirak is a NYC harpist and singer-songwriter on a mission to take the harp out of the concert hall and give it a home in your favorite dive bar. Written with longtime collaborator Peter Scoma, her debut album Rotten Fruit blends cinematic harp arrangements with indie rock, lush vocals, and sharp lyrics exploring morality, identity, and what it means to “be good.” Her music has earned praise from Obscure Sound, Indie Boulevard, and EARMILK, and she has performed with artists including Phoebe Bridgers and Sandra Day.
