Author talk and book signing for Keep Your Head Up, a USA Today National Bestseller by Tasha Faruqui.
About this Event

Come join us in person for a very special da Shop talk with author and physician Dr. Tasha Faruqui, sharing the story behind her book Keep Your Head Up: A Mother’s Story of Chasing Joy in the Face of Grief , an intimate and courageous account of navigating childhood terminal illness with love, honesty, and hope. Hear directly from Dr. Faruqui about her family's journey, including a deeply personal connection to Hawaiʻi that became a place of healing and joy. A Q&A and book signing will follow.

All proceeds from this event to benefit Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
ABOUT THE BOOK:

A testament to the depth of familial love and our ability to endure in the face of childhood terminal illness

Keep Your Head Up is the incredible tale of one family's path to perseverance in the face of devastating odds. This book gives a voice to parents and loved ones of terminally ill children, illuminating the way to comfort, community, and unbreakable hope. Discussing terminal illness with compassionate honesty and deep, firsthand understanding, Dr. Tasha Faruqui’s beautiful narration demonstrates how families can provide transparency to life-limited children around a terminal diagnosis, comfort them when they are afraid of what comes next, and continue to embrace life despite ongoing challenges.

Parents, family, and friends of terminally ill children, as well as healthcare professionals and educators, will appreciate Keep Your Head Up for its candor and its value as a guide to moving through a situation no family should have to face.
