Da Sheng (Monkey God) Festival 2026 8M16 26Sep2026

Every year, there are two major festivals dedicated to Da Sheng, known to the non-Chinese speaking people as Monkey God. The first is 1M16 (16th of the first Chinese Lunar Month) and the other being 8M16 (16th of the 8th Chinese Lunar Month). Various temples will have celebrations around that date, some of which could stretch a couple of days before and after the actual date.
