Meadow Croft Care Home D-Day Event
� Saturday 6th June
� 1:30pm – 4:00pm
� Open to the public
Join us for a special afternoon marking the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, in support of the Royal British Legion �
Step back in time with us and experience:
� A military jeep in the car park – perfect for photos
� WW2 artefacts to view and feel the weight of
� Try on military hats
� A genuine air raid siren experience
� 1940s music throughout the afternoon
� Guests and staff dressed in 1940s attire
� Delicious cakes and bakes by Thirteen Bakes
� A veteran in the home available for chats and stories
� Plus other stalls to browse
� We will also be running an “82 Balloon Pop” raffle – all money raised will go directly to the Royal British Legion �
A heartfelt community event filled with remembrance, history, and great company. Everyone is welcome – please come along and join
