CyberWomen@Cardiff: Cyber Careers Event with Tarian

CyberWomen@Cardiff is proud to announce this exciting careers event with Tarian RCCU! This is our second event, and anyone is welcome to come along and see if the network is something they would like to be involved in. Tickets are completely free, and it's a great way to connect with like-minded young people who enjoy cyber and tech.

Here’s what’s in store:

A range of talks, including one from Sophie, our wonderful Director of CyberWomen Groups C.I.C., about her experience working with Cyber PATH and from Tarian representatives about volunteering and career opportunities.

A practical activity using Tarian's fun physical escape room and LEGO lab —perfect to put on your CV but also a great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon!

Networking opportunities with Tarian and fellow students passionate about police work and cybersecurity.

About Tarian RCCU

Tarian RCCU consists of a team of multi-disciplinary police officers and staff seconded from three of the Welsh forces: South Wales, Gwent, and Dyfed-Powys.

The unit is tasked with investigating online criminality, engaging with businesses and organisations across the region, and working with schools and educational bodies to keep young people from breaking the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

A coalition of police, government, large employers and organisations and academia, supporting the growth of the Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) network, helping smaller organisations across England and Wales make their businesses safer, more secure and more resilient.
