Cybersecurity specialist Jillian Burner will discuss the current threat landscape, trends we are seeing, and some foundational steps businesses can take to protect their networks and educate users. Jillian will also explore some Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) services that may help increase security and awareness for small businesses.This program is presented in partnership with the Bexley Women's Club and the Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce.
About the Presenter:
Jillian Burner has over 20 years of experience in the public sector, 14 of those years being focused on cybersecurity. Jillian has led cyber leaders and operators at different levels within the state, county, and local governments. She has experience with all aspects of incident response, forensic investigations, and has led teams of engineers that collaborate with internal and external partners to implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions and mitigate risk. Jillian is a Cybersecurity Advisor with the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and focuses on building resiliency within critical infrastructure sectors in Ohio.
Jillian is a United States Air Force veteran, holds a master’s degree in digital forensics and cyber investigations from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and is an ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
