Ben is an insurance, technology law, incident response, data privacy, risk, and dispute resolution expert. He has over 15 years of experience as an admitted solicitor working in Australia, San Francisco and London focusing on technology and cyber disputes. Ben is the current Vice President of the Australasian Society for Computers and Law and sits on advisory committees for the Australian Computer Society, Standards Australia, the Queensland Law Society, and the NSW Law Society. Ben also acts as an independent director on the board of Australia’s largest captive insurer and as a director for an educational charity. Ben has assisted Australian and global organisations in managing over 400 cyber events. He also collaborates and guest lectures with 5 of Australia’s leading universities on topics including technology law, cyber law, insurance law, information system security, the cyber threat landscape, incident response, privacy, and data governance.
Anthony Kumar
Senior Associate | Cyber & Technology, FINEX Australasia
Anthony is the placement and insurance lead for large and complex account insurance placement across Australia and New Zealand. Anthony’s expertise extends to the management of cyber claims and incident response. Beyond practical experience, Anthony is also a published thought leader, contributing to industry discussions on a wide range of financial lines insurances, with a particular focus on cyber and technology risk.
Craig Allen
CTO and GM, Kaseya Asia Pacific
As the Chief Technology Officer and General Manager, Craig is responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for clients to help improve and increase business goals. He is responsible for identifying long- and short-term IT needs, overseeing system designs, changes and leading technical teams in everyday operations.
