About this Event

About the Performance:

In rural Kentucky, 1933, Lucinda Ward Mills was consensually murdered by her children in a ritual human sacrifice. Almost a hundred years later, her great-great-great granddaughter Erin Proctor digs up her family’s dark past and tries to find a through line between her ancestor’s tragedy and the fragility of her maternal line. Why is Erin’s family so susceptible to joining cults, and why is she the first generation to not be born into one? Has the circle finally been broken? Join Erin as she has a bourbon with the ghost of her triple great grandma, and tries to deconstruct her human sacrifice.
