CWGC War Graves Week Tours 2026 - Ringwood Cemetery

Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Ringwood Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is in the car park as you drive through the main gate.

Ringwood Cemetery was established and opened in 1864, it is in the care of Ringwood Town Council. Their website www.ringwood.gov.uk has more information about the history and use of the Cemetery. The grounds are very well cared for with a lovely selection of mature trees and shrubs. We will follow the path around the cemetery looking at the lives and service of some of the 30 casualties lying here from both World Wars. In particular, Royal Air Force Personnel, including Royal Australian and Czechoslovak personnel.

The tours last approx. 60 mins and covers about 800 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground and slopes. There is wheelchair access.

There is parking available on site and nearby. There are no facilities or toilets on site. Please bring water if required.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are not welcome site.

Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
