Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Mearns Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is inside by the cemetery gates.
With plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion, you will learn about the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and hear the remarkable stories of some of those, including two sets of brothers, who died in the two world wars and are buried in the cemetery.
The tour will last approx. 60 mins and will cover about 400 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.
There is limited parking available inside the entrance on Waterfoot Road but no facilites available on site, so please bring water if required.
Please come dressed for the weather and in a suitable footwear.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are allowed on site.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
