CWGC War Graves Week Tours 2026 - Blandford Cemetery

Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a tour of Blandford Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is at the lower cemetery entrance.

There are 50 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war, 1 of which is an unidentified seaman. There are a further 20 burials of the 1939-45 war. In addition there are 9 German burials and 6 non world war service burials.

The tours last approx. 60 mins and covers about 800 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground and hills. There is wheelchair access.

Parking is available on site and nearby. There are no facilities or toilets on site. Please bring water if required.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in the cemetery.

Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
