CWGC War Graves Week 2026 - Nuneaton (Oaston Road) Cemetery

Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of the Nuneaton (Oaston Road) Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

M EETING POINT is by the cemetery's chapel building.

Hear about the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and stories of some of the men and women that are commemorated in this cemetery. The cemetery is the resting place for twelve casualties from the First World War, and 76 Second World War Casualties. The tour will include the well maintained CWGC British/Commonwealth, Polish and German plots, along with a number of the cemetery's scattered war graves including a Battle of Britain spitfire pilot.

The tour lasts approx. 90 mins and covers about 800 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.

Parking is available nearby and limited parking next to the chapel. There are no facilities or toilets oon site.

Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Please bring water if required.

Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.

Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
