CWC-FPRA Meet the Media: The Future is Now
About this Event
Reserve your spot and get ready to Meet the Media: The Future Is Now on November 18.
We’re bringing back one of our most powerful traditions with a fresh perspective. Meet the Media: The Future Is Now brings together journalists from traditional and emerging media, broadcasters, publishers, podcasters, and digital creators from across Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and community.
You already know the media landscape is changing. This year, we’re taking a closer look at what that means for our local media and the people behind it. We’ll explore the business of media, the latest platforms and emerging ways stories are being told, and what the future holds for the industry. But this event is about more than learning what’s next. It’s about showing up for the people who are doing the work.
Every article, broadcast, podcast, feature, and community story represents someone who has chosen to invest their time and talent in helping our community stay informed and connected. As PR and communications professionals, we have the privilege of working alongside these journalists and storytellers every day.
Meet the Media: The Future Is Now is our opportunity to say thank you, strengthen existing relationships, make new connections, and show our support for the people who help tell the story of our region.
