About this Event
Jamie began her career as a college intern at the home office of Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg, FL. After graduating with a BA in Business and a Minor in Economics from Eckerd College she gained valuable experience working across different departments and obtained multiple Securities licenses. Armed with that experience, she ventured out west to open a branch office and delve into the insurance industry. In 1998 she founded a multi-lines independent insurance and financial planning firm in the Vail, CO area. Fourteen years later, she successfully sold her practice and returned home to Florida. Since 2012, she have been passionately serving as a Client Advisor with Dick, Johnson, & Jefferson, Inc., now Acrisure Southeast. In 2014 she earned the Certified Insurance Counselor designation followed by the Certified Personal Risk Manager designation in 2023. She is actively involved in our community, frequently presenting to various groups on insurance industry trends and strategies for managing property and liability exposures. With her extensive background and diverse experience, she offers clients a comprehensive perspective and expert guidance for insuring their assets.
Jamie has three young adult children, one Puggle, and one Budgie that keep her and her husband always entertained. They are actively involved in Bayside Community Church and are volunteers in their Street Outreach and Kids ministries. Jamie is grateful to live near family members and loves being close to the beach. She became a black belt in martial arts in 2019 and is currently helping her oldest son look for his first home to buy. Jamie is a Founding Member of Connectors With a Cause and loves connecting businesses with a purpose.
The Charity Jamie has chosen to support will be the Brandeton Dream Center. The Bradenton Dream Center offers an after school program that supports literacy, wellness, and spiritual growth for Elementary students in the downtown Bradenton area.
Programs are designed to offer meaningful learning experiences for the students. Enrichment programs such as homework help, S.T.E.A.M. Lab, physical fitness activities, and much more are available.

Connectors With a Cause was founded in 2022 and was born from a passion to support local businesses and our community. We are a closed networking group, only allowing one member per industry classification. Our objectives are to grow each other’s businesses with quality referrals, to add value by providing services for each other’s clients, and to bless others in the community through giving opportunities. We have open positions in many industry classifications and welcome the opportunity to help new members grow their businesses.
We meet twice per month. Our 2nd Wednesday meetings are on Zoom and follow a structured agenda for networking and passing referrals. Our 4th Tuesday meetings are our in person CWC Cause Nights. Our CWC Cause Nights are held at rotating locations in Manatee and Sarasota counties on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The Cause Nights are open networking meetings, with charitable giving supporting different causes each month. Membership fees are $60/month, with half of the fees going towards blessing others in the community each month.
