The Cuyahoga Falls Fest is a gathering of experienced whitewater paddlers. The Upper Gorge features challenging Class IV-V+ rapids (flow-dependent), requiring proper gear, expert skills, and training. Paddlers must form their own groups, create safety plans, and handle any shuttle logistics.
Due to unforeseeable weather events and variable water levels, paddlers should consider alternative paddling options if the Upper Gorge conditions are not favorable for their abilities.
