Our Culture Companions have been invited to visit the 'Cut, Coiled, Carried' Exhibition by Mani Kambo on Thursday 9 July at 11.30am - 1.30pm.
Mani Kambo is a multidisciplinary artist working across textile, print and moving image. Her practice explores the inner spirit through a visual language shaped by personal, totemic symbols, informed by an upbringing steeped in superstition.
In this exhibition, the interplay of black and white operates as a framework for duality: light and dark, creation and destruction, presence and absence. Sacred symbols act as guides, tracing connections across these shifting thresholds.
