Cut and collage for adult beginners with Liz Waterston
About this Event
Starting with a short introduction to contemporary artists who use collage within their work, participants will have the opportunity to experiment and create their own collage, using an array of recycled materials including magazines, books and paper.
Liz Waterston is an Edinburgh based artist who works in community arts. She has been leading arts and crafts workshops for young people, adults and adults with ASN for over ten years. Her practice is not tied to a specific medium but in recent years collage, mark-making and zines have been most prominent in her work, focusing on the themes of motherhood, mental health and feminism.
This is part of a series of workshops Art in November for adults only on Friday afternoons through November. For further information contact the Art & Design Library on 0131 242 8040 or email [email protected]
