Curtains: the Musical Comedy Whodunit at NBHS

New Britain High School presents "Curtains: the Musical Comedy Whodunit". From the creators of "Cabaret", "Chicago" and "Kiss of the Spiderwoman", songwriting legends John Kander and Fred Ebb along with Peter Stone and Rupert Holmes, "Curtains" is a backstage M**der mystery set during previews of a musical in Boston. When the leading lady dies on opening night, Lt. Frank Cioffi of the Boston Police Homicide Division comes in to solve the case and save the show all while falling in love in the process.

The show features a cast of NBHS students including Jovan Torres (Cioffi), Aliza Clark (lyricist Georgia Hendricks), Ilyjah Fernandez (composer Aaron Fox), Sanaya Echevarria (producer Carmen Bernstein), Samuel Petrisko (choreographer Bobby Pepper), Haylee Rivera (ingenue Nikki Harris), Daniel Mosakowski (director Christopher Belling) and Michelle Spiewak (dancer Bambi Bernstein) along with many other talented singers, dancers and crew members.

"Curtains" is directed and music directed by NBHS Choral Director Jason Ferrandino, with Choreography by Christine Kuzia, Technical Direction by Robert Smedley and Matthew Sbalcio conducting the orchestra
