This month we are featuring THE HOOPS - they'll be playing from 7:30pm-10:30pm. It's a great chance to gather some friends or bring the family down to enjoy a fantastic evening of great live music 😄
The Hoops formed in 2009 after lead singer/rhythm guitarist Jamie Forbes moved back to the Bega Valley from Melbourne, where he had been playing with Buddy Holly Revival band the Crikets, doing short but interesting tours.
Wanting to continue to play 50s rock and roll but not limited only to Buddy, Jamie formed The Hoops with Bill Ducker, Pete White and Syd Brassington.
Over 150 gigs later, The Hoops are still rockin’, with Groovemeisters Damon Davies (stand up bass, vocals), Jonathan ‘Trapper’ Trevena (drums, vocals) and Dean Gray (lead guitar, vocals) thumpin’ out the tunes of Buddy, Chuck, Jerry, Elvis, Eddie, Bo and a whole heap of others! 🎸
Come party like it’s 1959 - LIVE and FREE at Club Sapphire on Friday 29th November, playing 7:30-10:30pm in the Auditorium.
