Clear out your storage closets, desks, filing cabinets, and totes!! Let's do a curriculum swap / low-cost sale. This includes homeschool related supplies, gently used kids clothing and toys, gently used or unused curriculum (must be able to be used by another family).

The event will be May 21st from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (maybe a little longer) at Red Bug Lake Park and is organized by Chris and Madre. :-)

We will meet at the playground and will set up at a pavilion that is open. We do not plan to pay to reserve a pavilion as the park should be rather empty during this time. Someone will post once we have picked our pavilion :-)

This is intended to be an opportunity for us to support other homeschool families and out community. There are a few things to keep in mind:

*Curriculum items brought must be able to be used by another family.
*Curriculum offered for sale must be low-cost. It cannot be overpriced.
*Those offering curriculum must bring it themselves and stay while others browse the items. Do not drop off items and leave.
*Any items not claimed by other families must go back home with you. Do not leave the items there.
*If items were obtained through a state scholarship, they can not be sold. They can be offered to swap or donated to other families but selling items obtained through a state scholarship is illegal. Those bringing items, not event organizers, are fully responsible for ensuring that the items offered can be sold.

Make sure to bring your lunch and snacks/drinks to share. Also feel free to bring a blanket to set up items if the pavilion gets too full. Our homeschoolers can play while parents browse.
