Come along to the upstairs conference room at the Success Library to check out a variety of homeschooling resources! Established homeschoolers are welcome and encouraged to bring along their resources for show and tell. Please share what resources you're bringing by leaving a comment on this event page and I'll update this description for reference. If you're sharing resources, please arrive at 12:45 to set up.
Please bring a gold coin donation to cover venue hire. You are welcome to share this event to other new homeschoolers you know, even outside the Christian Homeschoolers WA Facebook group :)
I'll be bringing:
- assorted Memoria Press language arts
- The Good and The Beautiful science
- Primary Mathematics by Shinglee (the Singaporean curriculum).
EJ VZ will be bringing:
- Memoria Press Junior Kindergarten full set
- some individual lower/upper primary math books which I thought were awesome
- Elemental Phonics by Jady Alvarez, Level 1-3
Ruby will be bringing:
- Memoria Press Geography 1 and 2
- Classical Acadamia Press writing and rhetoric levels 1 and 2.
- Element science
- Apologia science
- Memoria press classical studies.
- My Father's World Preschool curriculum
Theresa will be bringing:
- Funschooling resources, particularly how they can be used as notebooking system used in conjunction with other resources.
- variety of dyslexia-friendly resources
Michelle will be bringing:
-"Learning Adventures" Christian, STEAM-rich, Sensory friendly, neurodiverse supporting cross-curricular resources from her business, Peaceful Mom Homeschool
Carolie will be bringing:
-old editions of Apologia Science
-Rod and Staff year 5 grammar
-Writing with Ease
-Writing with Skill
-Ancient Civilizations
-Exploring the World of Astronomy
-Cartoon Guide to Genetics
-First Language Lessons
-Song School Latin
-IEW things (but old editions)
Andrew Creelman (a maths curriculum developer from WA) will be bringing his Fast Facts flash card system
