Curiosity Ride - Afternoon Amble to explore Terregles and Holywood

This 17 mile ride takes us on back roads and undiscovered farm tracks through Terregles and the area around Holywood Station.
As with all our Curiosity Rides the emphasis is on enjoying the ride and meeting people, rather than speed and endurance – we go ‘at the speed of chat’ and we welcome all types of cycles including e-bikes and trikes. Please note: this route as planned contains a short section along footway and a very short section over some grass.

There's no cafe stop mid ride, so suggest people bring food to sustain them and we’ll take a break somewhere suitable for people to refuel. This will be outdoors – so dress not just for the cycling but also make sure you will be warm enough when we stop, or perhaps bring a couple of warmer layers to put on.
Rides continue regardless of the weather, unless in the opinion of the ride leader it would be dangerous (or no fun), so bring a waterproof and whatever you need to stay warm on (and off) the bike.

You don’t need to be a member to come on a ride, but if you attend regularly (three or more a year) we ask you to join, to ensure you are covered by our insurance. Your membership also supports our year round work – prices start from just £5 per year.
