Explore "Fan Chang Tien: Rhythm of the Southern Brush" with the exhibition curators, Lim Shujuan and Chee Jin Ming. Through selected works and curatorial insights, discover how one of Singapore's most influential ink masters sustained and reimagined the Chinese ink tradition within a multicultural, modern society. The tour explores Fan Chang Tien's legacy as both artist and mentor, while examining broader themes of artistic transmission, cultural mobility, and cross-regional exchange that lie at the heart of the exhibition.

About the Curators
Lim Shujuan is Curator at National Gallery Singapore. Her research interests include early 20th-century visual culture and art. Exhibitions that she has (co)curated include "He Xiangning: Ink & Intent" (2026), "Tchang Ju Chi: Tireless Camel" (2026); "Georgette Chen: At Home in the World" (2020; 2025) and "Chua Mia Tee: Directing the Real" (2022).
林淑娟, 新加坡国家美术馆策展人，其研究致力于早期新加坡美术史。曾主策划展览《何香凝：画就丹青凭寄意》（2026年）,《张汝器：孜孜不倦的骆驼》（2026年）并共同策划《张荔英：此心安处》（新加坡及海外巡展）（2020；2025年）和《蔡名智：映真》（2022年）。
Chee Jin Ming is Curatorial Assistant at National Gallery Singapore. His research interests include experimental visual expressions and the interdisciplinary potential of the ink medium. He has contributed to exhibitions including "Dalam Collection: Where Ink Tides Meet" (2025); "Singapore Stories: Pathways and Detours in Art" (2024); "Liu Kuo-sung: Experimentation as Method" (2023).
朱锦明, 新加坡美术馆的策展助理。他的研究兴趣包括水墨媒介的实验性表达及其跨学科潜能。曾参与策划《Dalam Collection: 墨潮交汇》（2025年）；《新加坡艺事：曲径通幽》（2024年）；《刘国松：实验悟道》（2023年）等展览。
