On Saturday, Oct 17, curator Jordan King joins us at SUM gallery to share her insights and remembrances of Preston Buffalo, as part of our Fall exhibition, A View From Above: Remembering Preston Buffalo.
Based on Coast Salish Territories (aka Vancouver) for many years, Preston Buffalo began his explorations in art through drag and performance in the queer nightclub scene where he met his best friend and oft collaborator of 25 years, Jordan King. Now a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist, King leads an intimate curator talk at SUM , offering insight into Buffalo's diverse artistic practices and processes.
This curator talk is free to attend but registration is encouraged due to limited space. Registration link can be found on Eventbrite.
