Join curator and SOS ART founder Saad Ghosn for a special guided tour of Printed Voices from Kenya: Social and Cultural Reflections.
During this engaging tour, Saad will share stories from his travels to Kenya, where he met with artists and collected artwork for this exhibition. Visitors will gain insight into the diverse printmaking techniques represented in the show, as well as the social and cultural issues explored by the artists through their work.
Printed Voices from Kenya features 154 prints by 42 established and emerging Kenyan artists. Through a variety of printmaking methods, these artists use art as a powerful tool for communication, reflection, and storytelling, offering unique perspectives on contemporary life and culture in Kenya.
This exhibition is the fifth installment of the biennial *Printed Voices from...: Social and Cultural Reflections* series, organized by SOS ART in partnership with Kennedy Heights Arts Center. Previous exhibitions have highlighted artists from Mexico, Lebanon, Czechia, and India, with this year's exhibition celebrating Kenya's rich tradition and heritage in printmaking.
