About this Event
Curator Conversation with Adriana Herrera and Artist Aurora Molina
Adriana Herrera, PhD, independent writer, curator, and co-founder of Aluna Art Foundation, will examine how territory, plant fibers, and color intertwine in the history of textile art, and, after reviewing the antecedent of some historical artists that approached landscape in their fiber art, she will analyze the various ways in which the textile work of the participating artists relates to the moving “river of grass” of the Everglades.
The talk begins promptly at 11:00 am.
